Builders Install 2010 Leadership

Douglas E. Pearson, Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii Vice President of Construction, has been installed as 2010 President of the Building Industry Association of Hawaii.

Other officers are President-Elect James Byxbee of Homeworks Construction, Inc., Vice-President Dean I. Asahina of Universal Construction, Inc., Secretary Craig Washofsky of Servco Home & Appliance Distribution, Treasurer Kip K. Kamoto of KPRS Hawaii Construction, and Immediate Past President Michael J. Brant of Gentry Homes, Ltd.

Special Appointee-Builder is Paul Silen of Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co., Inc.; Special Appointee-Associate is Timothy J. Waite of Simpson Strong-Tie Co., Inc. Karen T. Nakamura serves as BIA-Hawaii Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer.
