West Maui’s Newest Condo Community Coming to Napili
Bach Corporation, a multi-faceted company with divisions engaged in development and property management, has entered the Hawaii market with Wailele Ridge, a fee-simple condominium community being developed on a hillside above Napili Bay. Based in Utah, the company has developed more than 50 subdivisions and manages and owns over 3,100 multi-family dwelling units, primarily in the Western U.S.
Wailele Ridge is West Maui’s newest condominium townhome development, and the first to be built in the area in more than a decade. Located in Napili, across the highway from Napili Plaza, the 10-acre project will include 158 units in 25 buildings.
One-, twoand three-bedroom units are priced from $399,000 to the mid $900,000s. The developer has defined Wailele Ridge’s target market as “owner occupants, second-home owners and long-term tenants.” The complex will be non-smoking and pet-friendly with amenities that support wellness and fitness.
Karla Aguera, a Realtor with Island Sotheby’s International Realty and project sales associate, points out that Wailele translates from Hawaiian as “leaping waters.” “Water in many forms is the focal point of this private enclave of new condominium homes,” Aguera commented. “The recreation center features an infinity pool and a surrounding water garden with twin spas, a well equipped fitness center overlooking the bay through floortoceiling windows, barbecue areas and fire pits. Panoramic ocean views from the property extend to Molokai and Lanai, and most nights there are spectacular sunsets.”
The homes of Wailele Ridge are wood construction with tile roofs. Sizes range from 500 to 1,500 square feet with several different floor plans, some with lanais and attached or detached garages. Finishes and features include porcelain tile flooring in bathrooms and kitchens, granite countertops in kitchens, double-pane Low-E windows and wood flooring in main living and dining areas and hallways. Interior design packages are available for viewing at the sales office.
The West Maui area provides numerous recreational opportunities. Sandy beaches and bays along the Napili coast offer calm waters as well as surf and some of the best snorkeling on the island. At 8.4-acre Napili Park are baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts and a basketball court. Fleming Beach Park is favored for boogie boarding, picnicking and its access to a shoreline walking trail. Two 18-hole golf courses — Kapalua Bay Course and Plantation Course — are close by at Kapalua Resort with its numerous options for shopping, dining and entertainment. The Kaanapali Resort and town of Lahaina are a short drive south on Honopiilani Highway.
The main sales center is located in Napili Plaza. Additional information is available at www.Waileleridge.com.
