The geographic diversity of the North Shore is paralleled by the range of properties available in this vast neighborhood that extends from a 24-mile seacoast to forested hillsides and the foothills of the Waianae Mountains. Although the dominant image of the North Shore may be sandy beaches and cresting waves, country homes, farms, and ranches in the uplands also define the local lifestyle. Virtually every type of homestyle is represented along the coast – from beach bungalows to luxurious estates, gated communities, and clusters of townhomes and condominium apartments at the eastern and western ends of the alternately rocky and sandy shore.
