Compass plans newest office in Lahaina gateway
Compass, Inc., the largest residential real estate brokerage in the United States, is excited to announce that swiftly following the two year anniversary of expanding to Hawai‘i, the company plans to open a permanent office space at the Lahaina Gateway, located at 325 Keawe Street, Suite B109, in Lahaina.
Compass expanded to Hawai‘i in October of 2020, establishing a presence with top agents from across the state, including O‘ahu, Maui, Kaua‘i and the Big Island. Today, the brokerage has grown to be one of the most widely recognized across the state, with eight offices transacting more than $1.4 billion in sales. Last year, Compass’ Maui office ranked sixth industry-wide on the island by sales volume, while Compass’ Kaua‘i office grew to be the fourth-largest brokerage on the isle, when measured by sales volume, according to the Realtors Association of Maui MLS, Hawai‘i Information System (HIS), HICentral MLS.
This new office space is more than just a shiny new office, but a celebration of the significant progress Compass continues to make in Hawai‘i, as well as a source of pride for those agents who have been with the company since its entry into the market. From this new space, Compass agents, leadership, clients and support staff can work together, collaborate creatively and continue our mission of helping everyone find their place in the world.
As a result of the 2021 real estate surge, the Hawaiian archipelago experienced a housing boom in the ultra-luxury category of $10 million dollars and above. As a result, the total $10 million dollars and above sales volume for Hawai‘i reached $1.1 billion dollars in 2021, a rise of 158.37 percent, compared to 2020.
Compass is the No. 1 residential real estate brokerage in the United States based on 2021 sales volume.
