New Elama Series Homes Now Open At Hoakalei

homes0830-2Hoakalei is a year-round, family-friendly resort community known for its finely crafted, Island-inspired home designs. On Saturday, August 29, a new home collection was introduced in the Kuapapa neighborhood -the Elama Series overlooking the Ernie Els Signature Golf Course at Hoakalei Country Club and the historic Kuapapa Preserve.

Designed for a relaxed, ocean-oriented lifestyle with elegant features and finishes, the Elama Series of homes will offer a choice of three distinctive two-story floorplans. With a preferred location, backing up to the golf course or the historic preserve, just 30 of these homes will be built.

The spacious Elama floor plans all include four bedrooms, some with an open loft in addition, and range from approximately 1,803 to 2,173 square feet. A sense of openness and thoughtful detailing are characteristic of the Elama homes. The well-appointed kitchen comes with stainless steel KitchenAid appliances and a large granite-topped island. Among the luxurious features of the master suite are a coffered ceiling, generous walk-in closet, and separate shower stall and soaking tub. Living spaces flow seam-lessly outward to a covered lanai and covered balcony – and to spectacular views of fairways or the historic preserve.

Each home includes a two-car garage, professionally designed front yard landscaping, and a fully-fenced and landscaped rear yard. A washer and dryer are also standard, along with blinds on select windows. As with all residences at Hoakalei, the Elama Series homes include eco-friendly features such as a solar hot water system, Energy Star-qualified, double-paned Milgard vinyl-framed windows with Low-E glass, central air conditioning with non-ozone depleting refrigerant, recessed LED lighting in the kitchen, and a programmable thermostat.

Beyond the home, the benefits of ownership extend to a planned neighborhood pool, spa, and barbecue. As residents of the Kuapapa neighborhood, Elama homeowners will also enjoy access to the Wai Kai Hale Club, a private club situated at the edge of the resort’s future crown jewel – Wai Kai Lagoon. Here, families will be able to gather with friends for a picnic and launch a kayak or paddle-board into the lagoon’s sheltered waters. When Wai Kai is complete, it is envisioned to include a promenade that will wind around the lagoon and lead to a variety of distinctive boutiques, restaurants, and resort hotel accommodations overlooking the water. The promenade is expected to join with other walking trails, including one that will follow the ocean shoreline to a scenic and culturally important wilderness park.

The homes of the Elama Series will start in the low $800,000s, fee simple. Models are now open for touring from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 91-1102 Kai Oio Street. For more information, call 808-200-0212 or visit hoakaleiresidences.com.
